WORDS OF WISDOM FOR THE NEXT GENERATION OF BLACK WRITERS

TEI Director Ashahed M. Muhammad pictured here listening to the author of "The Spook Who Sat By the Door" Sam Greenlee in Chicago, IL on Jan. 27th 2009. Mr. Greenlee had just finished a book signing, viewing and discussion of the movie. Many consider the film among the most influential Black films of the 70s, and the book is considered a classic.  
At 78 years old, Mr. Greenlee still has a sharp mind and words of wisdom for the next generation of Black filmmakers and book writers.

DAM was the subject of a documentary film Sling Shot Hip Hop and Rebel Diaz is one of the hottest activist rap groups on the scene today.
